Dr. Desko and Caring Pathways made the passing of our Beloved Mr. Gidget and sacred and peaceful experience during a terribly sad time. I felt very supported by the compassionate, thoughtful, and professional touches. Dr. Desko was incredibly kind and gentle; I completely trusted him and felt assured that he would handle every aspect of the process with love and respect.
In contrast to a terrifying car ride and spending one’s last breaths in fear at a bright, smelly clinic, having Caring Pathways at home with candlelight and soft music was a sweet and honorable way to send Mr. Gidget over the Rainbow Bridge. Our kittens were able to be present and witness, which I hope helped them understand and cope with the absence of their dear old alpha kitty.
