πŸ’”πŸ’”It is with heavy hearts we share with you that our sweet boy, Louie passed away at 11:42am this morning from lymphoma. He never let on how sick he was and even last Wednesday, he was playing in the toy tunnel with the kitten. By Sunday, he was very ill. Our Vet told us he has had cancer for some time. This comes as a huge devastating shock to us all. 😭 Louie was our family emotional support kitty. He was Dad’s “sweetheart”, Mom’s “buddy” and Tess’ “sweet boy”. Tess rescued Louie and brought him into our family at 4 weeks old. Louie was always more human than feline. He kept a watchful eye over Dad all of his years. When Dad got low blood sugar, Louie would jump on his chest to alert him or run yelling at us to check on him. When we changed Dad’s bandages, Louie would be front and center (giving us the eye) making sure we were doing it right. Louie spent countless hours by Dad’s side. When Dad passed, Louie became Mom’s buddy. He slept with her every night, he watched tv with her and when we traveled, he was her constant companion and comfort. Mom loved to tell people he was her “Louis Vuitton”. πŸ₯° Louie loved hugs and cuddles. He loved when kids played with him and even loved his dog sister. He was strong, calm, comforting and kind. He enjoyed a freshly made bed. 🧺 Louie loved food but especially cheeseburgers and would sometimes steal yours, if you weren’t paying attention.πŸ”πŸ˜† He would come running when I said “Lou! It’s treat time!” Louie loved his daily sunning on the patio and walks in the grass. πŸŒ„ Tess was his forever Momma. ❀ Rich loved carrying him around like a baby and giving him belly rubs. πŸˆβ€β¬› For me, I loved everything about Louie and I have no words for how much I will miss him, only sweet memories and a river of tears. 🌺 Louie brought us profound amounts of comfort and love over the years. Our lives will not be the same without him. Rest easy our sweet boy. Our “Lou-skers”. Grandpa has his sweetheart back. 😒
