When I had to say goodbye to my sweet kitty Elway on January 30, 2021, I knew I could not even consider anything but the most gentle and loving passing. This was my best friend who had given me 20 years of love, fun and companionship. I am so grateful for the sweet, loving last day I was able to share with Elway, knowing he was with me and comfortable in the home he loved when he left this earth. Thank you to Dr. Gina for allowing me to talk and cry and share some of Elway’s fun stories and life and for your gentle compassion. Though it was a goodbye I never wanted to make, it could not have been a more beautiful experience.
