Caring Pathways was recommended by my local veterinarian, and I was thankful I had been proactive in seeking out in-home services prior to when the time came, which always comes much too quickly. The appointment process was done with kindness and compassion and we were given options and pricing immediately, and allowed some time to consider before making a final decision. All paperwork items were handled seamlessly via email and payment was handled easily over the phone, so grateful that Care Credit was accepted. Dr. Shelbie Snow attended, and immediately greeted us with a compassionate approach and helped us to have peace with this decision, based on our sweet pup’s diagnosis and current condition. She was kind and considerate with her explanations of the process and allowed us whatever time we needed to honor both us and our sweet Bruiser. She helped us gather some ink paw prints, and we wrapped him in his favorite blanket and sent some of his favorite toys with him to be included with his cremation. We were allowed to transport him to her car, which was waiting with the back open, complete with a soft glowing salt-lamp, diffuser, and flowers. It was so thoughtful, honorable, and considerate, one can only hope that humans can be extended the same dignity.
